slatts and
nancy_v, here's what you do. Go to my website: www.lindaurbanbooks.com and send me an email through the Contact section. Tell me where you'd like to have your book, socks, and cd sent and I'll package them up this week and get them to you. If either of you will be using your book as a gift for a kid, let me know and I'll send you kid-sized socks instead.
Thanks everyone for playing!

Sorry I missed the contest - I had good intentions, but well, you know where those end up ...
We came home from a short trip last night, and I considered my socks (ones w/ kitties on them, pink ones w/ herbs on them ((??)), red and green reindeer ones, and the prosaic white or black ones) ...
Then I took a nap.
Looking forward to reading the book just the same. Have heard such good things!
Thanks for the great contest, Linda!
skeletal socks: Where (http://www.allheart.com/accss26akl.html) you can buy em. I rushed here the very minute I saw 'em to post for you, Linda.
OMGROFLOL.
Oh, the post I was threatening to do talking about your wonderful writer workshops at Vromans has been up (http://www.2020hindsight.org/2007/08/25/i-miss-vromans-summer-writer-workshops-run-by-linda-urban/) for a few days... I took hard copy to the store as a very strong hint, hint.

Thanks for the lovely write-up on your blog. It was sort of strange to look back at those photos. I thought it would feel like so long ago, but it doesn't. I love where I'm at, but I miss that job, too.
Maybe I'll see you at my signing in October? Now, that will feel weird.
Congratulations to two LJ friends who knock MY socks off: Hurrahs for Kevin and Nancy! You really know how to put your foot down and win things, don't you?
P.S. to Nancy: Now you've had luck with SOCKS and ROCKS. ;> (You don't like, er, lox, perchance, do you?) {}
-Pamela, wishing Linda much happiness, sales, and sox-cess {}

Can't wait to read it!
